Andrew is Lone RHS State Qualifier

Andrew placed 16th at Saturday's District 2/4 Championships and will travel to Pasco with Coaches Collier and Lynch as a State Meet qualifier. Matt also ran well in the District meet but will have to wait until next year to qualify.

When the gun sounded to start the race, the rain came down in buckets potentially threatening the course surface. A dejected runner from Woodinville was seen walking back to the finish area wearing only one shoe . . . the other one was left somewhere on the course. Other runners were covered with mud and grass indicating the less-than-ideal conditions. No Seattle 4A team qualified for State this year and altogether only two Seattle 4A runners qualified. We look forward to next year when this trend will be reversed.
