Bellevue Invitational, This Weekend, Sat. 9/22



The Bellevue Invitational Cross Country Meet is back this year after a one-year hiatus. The site of the race is Lake Sammamish State Park, in Issaquah, right off of I-90. The course is primarily flat with grass, pavement, and sand surfaces . . . in other words, FAST. Many of the state's top schools will compete. The weather forecast is temperatures in the low to mid-50s with a 30% chance of showers.

Here are the scheduled start times:
Varsity flights will run BOYS and GIRLS TOGETHER.

ALL other runners you may have may participate in the OPEN RACE at the end of the meet. Full results will be taken for this event.

9:00 AM Packet pick up and coaches meeting
9:30 AM Junior Varsity Girls (max. runners is 7 per team)
10:15 AM Junior Varsity Boys (max. runners is 7 per team)
10:45 AM Varsity Boys/Girls #7/8 runners
11:15 AM Varsity Boys/Girls #5/6 runners
11:45 AM Varsity Boys/Girls #3/4 runners
12:15 PM Varsity Girls #1/2 runners
12:15 PM Varsity Girls #1/2 runners
12:45 PM Varsity Boys #1/2 runners
1:15 PM OPEN RACE…ALL ADDITIONAL RUNNERS YOU MAY HAVE!!
2:00 PM TEAM AWARD CEREMONY

ALL team members encouraged to participate!! Scoring for Varsity races will be all 8 runners. Top five in Junior Varsity race will score (maximum entry is 7 runners per school). If a school does not have a runner entered in a Varsity race, or has a runner not finish a race then the runner will count for last place points in the Varsity flight events.
